It’s been a hell year not being with this person and I can’t stop thinking about them. Is something wrong with me? Every time I see any form of loving affection I begin to think of what could have been between us and break up inside and can’t stop being depressed. What am I suppose to do to make this feeling go away? I never think it will since it hasn’t for this long…

Ah, I’m sorry for you girl.
I know what you mean in a way. I’m in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend, and when I see people kissing or holding hands… I get depresses about it too.
You need to talk about it to your best friend. My boyfriend always tells me to workout when I get sad because there is a chemical boost that makes you happy when you do.
Do things you like hobbies, sports…
Do you have a cat or dog? Love THEM to death
And, always remember that life has to go on. He’s not waiting for you.
And here is a cute quote I read in a story:
"Life is like a car. You can either look at it through your rear view mirror, or look ahead through your windshield to what’s coming ahead!"
eat some chicken noodle soup and then call him just to talk.
Dear claire, sorry to hear this but all is well and know that all is well, and you will and can survive. Do not be disappointed after a year you should pick yourself up and start dating again.Depression is not good for you ,go shopping with friends or out to eat just having a good time should take your mind off this person that you broke up with.
