I had been going out with a boy for 2 years and 4 months. However the past 5 months have been long distance, because my family and I had to move country. Two days ago my boyfriend said that although he really loved me, he couldn’t go on like this. We had been doing well, but just before he broke up with me i had a go at him because i got jealous of a girl.
He is my life. I really do need him, and i can’t imagine living without him. I want him back. Do you think i can win him back? I’m planning on going to visit him next weekend, as a surprise. But i am so scared that he’s not going to want me. What should i do? How should i talk to him from now until i go visit him? Im scared that by the time i visit him, he will have already moved on.

Honey, it hurts me to agree with the other poster, but she is correct. You need to move on. It is obvious that he has already. You got jealous because intuitively you knew that things have changed between you two and this girl you got jealous over was probably one of the reasons. Don’t go and surprise him because it is not going to end well. He is going to act cold and distant to you. The guy that loved is gone and the one you see next weekend will not embrace you as you are hoping. It will be uncomfortable and you will leave crying harder than you ever imagine.
You are 15 and as much as you think he is your EVERYTHING, he is not. The lesson you learn from this breakup and how you handle yourself now, will help in the years to come. You don’t want to look back at this break up and how you handled it with regrets and wishes of wanting to do it over with more pride and grace? You can choose now before it is too late to rise above and realize that there is a life without this boy.
Go get a few books from the library on the subject of working through break ups or tell your mom you want to see a therapist a couple of times. If she asks why, tell her that it is private, but necessary and you’d really appreciate her support on this.

Listen sweety, I know it seems like he is your life. But you are only 15! There will be other guys in your life. I am here to tell you – long distance relationships DO NOT WORK. Hard as it may be,
you need to forget him. He will be finding another girl in his own country, so you might as well
get another boyfriend. One that you know you can see everyday!
You should probably get to talk and try to just be friends. And if he accepts, you then show up and ask him if he wants to get together again. That’s what I would do, and I’m a guy.

You’re 15…. by the time you are 18, you will be a totally different person. Since he is your "first everything" these feelings you have for him will be amplified, but the time has come to move on. If it didn’t happen now it would have happened later when he went off to school or moved somewhere else.
Just remember the good times and go look to make more else where.
