I find it interesting that Say Anything fans are also Brand New fans. Both of them and Third Eye Blind are my all time favorites. 3eb just released a new album and it definitely wasn’t as good as their previous 3. I’m really worried that will be the case with SA’s new album because I was seriously disappointed with In Defense of the Genre. …Is a Real Boy FTW. This song is all right; I’m positive it will grow on me.
Every BN album has been equally epic. So I’m not worried about Daisy.
I thought this was nothing special the first time I heard it, but I kept listening to it and now I love it. Im SO excited for this album.

I was lucky enough to have a friend who had a couple of songs like A Walk Through Hell and Colorblind
coming from a huge say anything fan, this is mediocre.

I totally understand where you’re coming from. Huge fan here too, but this is the first single, and still it’s pretty good. The first single is the song I always expect the least from. I wouldn’t worry, the rest of the album is still going to kick major ass.

And I have to say, the beat isn’t ‘Say Anything’ material. The rhythm is terrible. The lyrics are cliche’ Its like all their songs out together. It’s just… not good.

Decent…. Their last 2 singles were about the same caliber too but the albums were much better. They needed to pick a song that was “television + radio friendly”. I was expecting more…hopefully the album doesn’t disappoint. I can’t wait to hear the recorded version of Ahh Men.

i think the song has some of the same up beat melodies like in defense. but the lyrics remind me of songs such as little girls or all my friends.
