Maybe your ex is not brave enough to tell you the real reason why she broke up with you. I know you feel lost and you still love her but give it a bit more time and see how this turns out. Maybe she will realize that she made a mistake. Or maybe she is no longer in love with you. And if you don't hear from her in a couple of weeks then you'll know where you stand. But in the meantime don't call her. Give her enough space so she finds out on her own what she really wants. You should go out with your friends and try to keep busy. If you really love her, you won't mind waiting, especially since it was a stupid reason, there might be something else that is worrying her. Like, for instance, there might be some kind of fear of commitment? Just wait, when the time comes, talk to her about it and figure things out, but make sure you're both ready to talk, don't force it or else you might not get the answers you need Good luck First off you need to chill.

You need to realise that you are in the equivalent of relationship grief and the first stage is denial. Sounds about right doesn't it. You need to be strong, distract yourself with activities or hanging out with friends. Give yourself some time to heal and get over her. The pain will go away eventually, you just need to try and not do anything too strange. If she comes back, good luck with that. But don't sit around waiting for that to happen. I want my ex back also, I moved to another state to be with her and after 4 months she broke up with me again. We have known each other for almost 10 years, we were together for 6 months and she left me to go back to her ex, and when he dumped her, she wanted me back about a year later. But she was living in Florida, so quit my job, rented my house out, sold my car to go down there and be with her. Lasted 4 months and booted me out because I didn't get a chance to do laundry. Had some money saved up but couldn't find a job, so she broke up with and gave me 7 days to get out of our place. Said fine to at least save the friendship so now, I had to move back, trying to find a job, living with my parents again with no car, no house, no money. But for some stupid reason I really really do love that woman and still want her back. So as you can tell I can't help you any but rest assured, your not alone out there. Right now nothing anyone says or does will help you feel better right now. but the hurt will fade after a while. Like I said, just takes time. Good luck.
