World of Warcraft is fun, but if your playing for 8 hours a day in a reality world. You have too much time on yours hands, either get your girlfriend to play the game with you on a computer next to yours, or find something that you can do together, 8 hours a day is a bit extreme although, I can say I’ve played Everquest for 12 hours straight before, you need to take care of real life needs before reality, if you know what I mean.
funny this is your question… me and my ex went through the same thing… wow is ok for you to play on your own time… if your gf is wanting to spend time with you… not watch you play wow… wow is a hobby not a need… QUIT PLAYING W.O.W BEFORE YOU LOSE EVERYTHING YOU LOVE AND ENJOY!!! people who play wow 8 hours a day have absolutely no life!!!

my brother used to play Maple story.
He failed his classes…… average of 54…………………
he played it like 10 hours a day. sometimes, he would break night and play it for 12-16 hours
he was always angry because people would disturb him from playing

Dude, talking man to man here… I am usually a very nice guy but I have to say this because nothing ever gets done if things are sugar coated….
Seriously, you need to get off that damn computer. She is totally right in leaving you. Why the heck would you choose a computer game over her? There’s a girl that WANTS to spend time WITH YOU! Here you are acting like a loser and not giving her much attention. You totally ended up spending more time on that computer than seeing her I can bet on it.
This is what people mean when they tell you to get a life. They mean for you to interact with real people in the REAL world. Not live vicariously through your fictitious character. Honestly, think about it. If the she did something like that to you would you have honestly stuck around?

Well now that I am done trying to get my point across and pretty much telling you why she is mad, here is what you do..
1. Quit playing WoW.
2. Think of something really sweet you can do for her. (Get her a bracelet that might have something that reminds her of the first time you guys met?) (Write a poem about how you really do feel about her and how she effects your life?) (Bring her a gift of some sort?) But the most important thing is for you to understand why she was mad at you and to understand what you did was totally wrong. You have to reassure her (and I hope she is) one of the most important things in your life and some silly game is not going to take her place, and you plan to prove it to her somehow (maybe quit playing WoW?)
Believe me, if you just decide to let her go and keep playing WoW like this, not only will you not be able to keep your girlfriend but I highly doubt you will ever get one. In fact, you would probably end up being one of those single bald 40 year old men that live in their mother’s basement while being on the computer the whole day.
