Everyone here is telling you the truth. You should not even be with this girl at all and it is very unfair for you to be dating anyone right now. What you are doing right now is trying to replace her and that is just down right impossible and not to mention just plain wrong!

do not force urself to forget someone.u'll just be more confused and u'll be thinking of her more.just have fun with ur new.and if ther comes a time that you think abou ur ex, just ignore it and tell urself and convince urself that u have a new life now.and that ur happy with whats going on.maybe u stil have a thing with ur ex, and u just cant get rid of it imediately,spec. when u loved her so much and ur rel. was really serious.look forward.do not compare ur life before from now.maybe thats the thing that let you not forget he past,Comparison.i know people with the same situation as urs.dont be bothered by it.love ur new girl,be faithful and do new stuffs with her so that you can set aside things done with ur past.

I being there mate I feel your pain. i am still feel exactly the same. in fact I had sex with this new girl but it doesn't feel the same as my ex gf so I told the new girl SORRY I cant be with you because still didn't move on completely. its really tough. but like the above mentioned try to think the negative things about your ex. All I want know is when it is the time to forget your ex completely really don't know the answer.
well try to work out with your new gf that is all I can said but the feeling that you have now is normal. best luck mate.

I'm pretty sure you meant no harm when you started your new relationship and you probably thought that the feeling for your ex would pass over time. But it hasn't.

At least you're trying to get out of it, as opposed to accepting it and not doing anything, so i don't think you're being cruel.

Did you and your ex end on really bad terms? If you guys didn't have closure, then that's probably why you're still thinking about her. Your heart's in the right place but your head is probably still wondering what happened and why it ended. Why not give your ex a call and have a talk with her. Try to keep it as brief as possible.

Your head needs answers, and they need it asap. You've got to tell yourself that you ended things with her for a reason,[find out what reason that is] and you need to move on. Remind yourself of all the amazing qualities this new girl has to offer.

Props for being honest, hun.

If you are still not over your ex, you shouldn't have started a new relationship.. it will ruin the one you are in at the moment, maybe take a break from the one you're in now, and think things through, maybe even talk to your ex?
