Chalk this up as a HUGE win for the techpb community I’m still at a loss for words for what happened this morning. Once again I have to say thank you to all the members on TechPB for helping each other out, taking the time to answer questions. Just because the person’s screen name may be “IonLoverFan” (not this person’s real screen name) or something like that, doesnt mean it’s a kid. In this case it was a parent, a Mom looking to purchase paintball guns, and WE ALL CHIPPED IN AND HELPED HER …

Although I haven’t had any problems with BST on PBNation, I do agree it’s full of shitheads, but good people exist in all communities. Fortunately, TechPB has more good people.

Look pbnation sucks ass. i hear about all these people who want paintball to be a bigger sport. but if you go bashing on new kids saying they suck or saying that there gun sucks or somethin like that they are not going to want to play again. im 13 and ok i had an ion for my firest marker.. big deal everyone was new to paintball. so you cant be bashing on anyone calling them a noob or something like that because you were once there. Tech pb is the BEST place to go. THANK YOU TECH PB

im i just turned 15 and im looking to get a new gun could someone tell me wich to get dp g3 or a proto slg 09?A vlocity jr or a halo? what kind of barrel?
I have a DP G3 and its is a great gun and im not just saying that because i own one
. Mike says that it is a great gun too and it is pretty cheap. I’m not sure how the SLG shoots but i heard from my local PB shop that they break easily and get taken there alot to get fixed. As for the barrel, i suggest a CP 1 piece .693 barrel because, well, mike likes it 
. Im not sure what kind of hopper you should get though

i am in canada though and its 400$ no hose from asa to reg … slg is only 260$ but i was also wondering is a 45/3000 pure energy any good?
i got a g3 it works awsome and DONT GET A HALO rotors work the best and u save lots om money
Yeah a carbon fiber 45/3000 pure energy tank is pretty good and if its a steely tank, its still pretty good, just a bit heavy. I have a 48/3000 Ninja aluminum tank and im planning on buying a new carbon fiber stubby tank that can hold at least 4500 PSI. They are a bit expensive but i suggest you get the pure energy tank and when you get enough money, get a 4500 PSI carbon fiber tank.

I would say that is a great set-up. The mask is good, i have JT-pro flex’s and E-vents, the hopper is great, i have the same thing, the pod pack is good, i have a CP 4+2+2 but the 3+2 iq is good too, and yeah just eventually you might have to upgrade to a carbon fiber tank if weight is a problem. So the set-up you chose is great and i would stick with that or get jt-pro flex’s if you want but that is your choice. What ever you feel more comfortable with i guess

u can get a proto slg for 200 dollars they are really good guns
well, between the two guns, i would get a g3. but you can get a proto PMR 09 for about 100$ more, and i my opinion, they out perform the g3s. between the two hoppers, halo is better, but you can get a dye rotor for the same price and its so much better. if you get a PMR, the stock barrel is amazing, you dont need an upgrade, but the dye ultralite barrel is a little better, its pretty much not much of an upgrade for 50$ from the stock barrel.
